About Auralia 3.5 (5-User Lab Pack)
Auralia 3.5 is the perfect software for improving ear training skills. Start at any level and progressively improve at your own pace. The software provides instant feedback and provides detailed instruction when additional help is needed. Nothing will improve your ear training skills faster.
In the classroom, teachers can setup Auralia to automatically track student progress and provide assessment reports. This frees up hours of teaching time.
Auralia’s sister product Musition focus’s on improving music theory skills. Together, these two products offer a powerful tandem combining ear training and music theory. The interfaces are very similar so that learning one in reality is learning both. Plus for teachers, the assessment reports of these two products can be combined.
NEW FEATURES
Syllabus Support
Auralia can now be configured to support multiple syllabi. A separate level structure can be created in each topic for any particular syllabus. Auralia 3.5 comes with its own syllabus, as well as the older level structure for Auralia 2.1. Extra syllabi can easily be added to the system using our Syllabus Editor.
Level Customisation
All topics now support custom levels, and custom levels can be saved and reused using the Syllabus feature.
Topic Enhancements
All existing topics have been enhaced to support level customisation. For example, in the rhythm topics, it is now possible to choose individual note values for each of the time signatures that you wish to practise.
Interface
Auralia's interface has been given a makeover, keeping the basic workflow, but with more contemporary look and feel.
Notation
All musical notation has been revised and enhanced, with emphasis on beaming and spacing. Auralia now uses Sibelius fonts for all notation, and in topics such as Melodic Dictation, note selection is done using a keypad similar to that used in Sibelius.
On Screen Guitar & Keyboard
It is now possible to use an on screen guitar fretboard to enter your answer in certain topics. The existing on screen keyboard has also been enhanced.
Pitch Recognition
The microphone input in Auralia has been improved, using new algorithms that are more accurate and responsive.
Record Keeping
It is now possible to import lists of students, and in a single user environment, automatic logon of a specified user is available.
